I have been doing studies of advanced learning techniques, particularly the beneficial effects of learning under the influence of baroque music. Within my personal study of Baroque music many patterns have arised and emotional signifigances of accending scales and decending scales. Mozart's music for example "coordinates breathing, cardiovascular rhythm, and brain-wave rhythm and leads to positive effects on health. It acts on the unconscious, stimulating receptivityand perception." (French researcher Mme. Belanger)

If these study are true than the effects of such music, reconstructed by modern players is actually diminished by the standard tuning of modern music. Therefore the maximum benefits could only be achieved through the transposing to "RA tuning", which itself is to transpose the compositions to their orignal frequecies intended by the composers.

As a musician, I feel that music itself has the intention of arousing emotions and imagery, and its effects of doing so are there, simply its effect on doing so is slightly diminished by the modern tuning system, which is technically sharp of the natural frequencies of nature.

Hello Ian, Thanks for sharing - yes! baroque music helps reset the rhythm of the heart, causes the heart to relax;decreases blood pressure. As the body becomes relaxed the mind is able to concentrate more easily enhancing the ability to learn.
